Markus Fahlbusch studied law at the University of Passau, the University Toulouse 1, the University of Freiburg and at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel. He holds a master’s degree in German law and a LL.M. in International and European Law.
Within the framework of a F.R.S. – FNRS scholarship he writes a PhD thesis examining the possible role of the concept of “legal culture” in the debate on European integration.
Besides his interest for the cultural, sociological or philosophical aspects of law, he is passionate about comparative law and questions of public international law, especially in the field of human rights.
