Ana Maria Corrêa

Ana is a PhD candidate at the Université Libre de Bruxelles and a researcher at the Perelman Center for Legal Philosophy. She holds a Law Master Degree from the Université Aix-Marseille III (France) and a Bachelor in Law from the Universidade Federal Fluminense (Brazil). She studied European Human Rights at the European University Institute (Italy). Her PhD research topic is about the global law of online platforms. She is particularly interested in the coregulatory role of platforms in social and antidiscrimination rights. Her PhD research is entirely funded by CAPES.

She has been visiting lecturer at Université Libre de Bruxelles in the Comparative Law Course & at Goethe Universitat Frankfurt in the Global Law Theories course. She is Assistant Curator at Geneva Internet Platform/ Digital Watch Observatory. She is member of the Council for European Studies and the Internet Society Association. She scientifically coordinated the Equality Law Clinic at the Université Libre de Bruxelles in 2016-2017. She has participated in legal research projects in different universities, including the Freie Universität Berlin and Harvard University – Center for Ethics (Immigration Law and Constitutional Identity Project).
