Ana Maria M. Corrêa

Ana M.M. Corrêa is a PhD candidate and researcher at the Perelman Centre of Legal Philosophy, at the Université Libre de Bruxelles, under the supervision of Prof. Isabelle Rorive and financed by the Brazilian Ministry of Education (CAPES). Ana holds a Master Degree in Legal Theory from Université Aix-Marseille III (France) and a LL.B from Universidade Federal Fluminense (Brazil).

During her LL.B. studies, she was granted a research fellowship to work in a project focused on comparative law, fundamental rights and legal institutions in Latin America under authoritarian governments, at Fundação Casa de Rui Barbosa (Brazil). She worked as an intern lawyer at the State Attorney of Rio de Janeiro, in the public debt trading section. She has experience as a researcher assistant at Fundação Getúlio Vargas - Law School (Brazil). Her main projects, in this law school, were related to legal theory and the definition of fundamental rights, such as public morality, by the Brazilian Supreme Court. She works as a researcher assistant in the project of constitutional identity and citizenship at Freie Universität Berlin (Germany).
