The belgian Parliament is discussing a bill relating to euthanasy. This was adopted by the belgian Senate after a two-years debate. The ideological cleavage, which opposes those for which the principle of autonomy is a value crowned with those which defend a position based on the respect of the life, quickly made place with more technical questions. This article will tackle only some of these questions thus omitting to settle the ethical debate. In a first part, we will analyze the advance and the contents of the bill discussed.
